      Sports Enhancement Program

Over the many years I've spent working with athletes of all types, the one thing I noticed with all of them, was a lack of specialty training in the art of running. It didn't matter whether the sport was baseball or softball, soccer or football, the situation was always the same. Yet in all of these sports, running is critical for the overall success of each member of the team.

How many games would have a different outcome if the athlete had just been one step faster or had a little more endurance? This can be accomplished by knowing and doing the proper running techniques and conditioning for your given sport.

Dr. Serrins has been practicing in the Saddleback Valley for 15 years. He has worked with all types of athletes ranging from the Pop-Warner to the little leaguer. He has worked with two U S National Teams; the 1984 Women's Volleyball Team (Silver Medallist) and the U S Men's National Soccer Team that played in the 1994 World Cup.

He has worked with the Mission Viejo Nadadores in 1983 and 1984 with lactic acid analysis in order to set up work out charts for peak performance. In 1984 he authored a book "Stretching to Stay Fit" which is still used today by many doctors for their patients.

Dr. Barry Hatch has been a competitive athlete most of his life. In high school Dr. Hatch lettered in water polo, baseball, cross country, and wrestling where he was the state champion, in 1981, in his weight division. He has coached water polo and wrestling at the high school level. He did his undergraduate studies at West Coast University. From his love of sports and seeing the results his older brother got from chiropractic care he decided that the two (sports and chiropractic) went hand in hand. He graduated from Cleveland College of Chiropractic, Magna cum Laude and was president of the sports injury council. Dr. Hatch was named to Who's Who of American College students in America in 1995.
