For those who would like a reference book for the library, an excellent book for general nutritional information is Nutrition for Dummies by Carol Ann Rinzler. It is well written and organized.
For those of you who are egg-heads try Krause's Food, Nutrition & Diet Therapy 9th Edition by L. Kathleen Mahan & Sylvia Escott-Stump. It's a text book full of big words and lots of the scientific stuff.
